We planted Mammouth sunflower seeds in April and cared for them with plenty of sunshine and water. We had to transfer the plants into larger cups and brought them home on May 9th for our mothers on Mother's Day. We watched several videos that showed the sunflower seeds growing into plants and enjoyed 'sunflower' music while working in our classroom. We will use this blogspot to share our sunflower's growth during the summer months. Please post here to let us know how your sunflower is doing. Pictures would be great!

ReplyDeleteYea! Brieann's mom was the first one to comment on our blog! Thanks! How hard was it?
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed watching the sunflower youtube video. Unfortunately, I was out of town when the Mother's Day sunflower came home. By the time I got home, it was no longer. It's the thought that counts though and I know it was sent home with love. Thanks Mrs. Hale for all of the really cool things you do with our children. Iva Switzer
ReplyDeleteWe have not planted our sunflower but it is still surviving.
