No, I did not attend ISTE :-( but want others to know there is still so much we can gain from those who did! The amazing thing is that they share their excitement, presentations, and lots of resources. There are many ways you can glean from the ISTE convention even if BUDGET WOES prevented you from going. I will be putting a few tips here and will add more posts as I come across them. Thanks to those who share!
- Untangling the Web: Tools to Power Up Your Teaching - this is a Padlet (formerly Wallwisher) with some new and old tools that are mentioned in +Adam Bellow and +Steve Dembo 's new book with the same title. Just going through the posts will give you much to learn.
- +Wesley Fryer Changing our Vocabulary as Technology Coaches - he has a great website called Mapping Media to the Common Core which I highly recommend. It's all about reaching to top of Bloom's in the Create level. Here's a link to Wesley's poster with his new vocabulary to use for introducing media without being too technical.
- Hall Davidson's sessions at ISTE - He is a well know speaker who I have not heard, but has resources and Handouts to ALL of his presentations at many conferences.more to come...
